Biography
Chad Sines (1974- )
Chad was born in 1974 in Newark , Ohio , the eldest of three children. His father worked factory work and his mom stayed home. Chad spent many a Saturday afternoon watching cartoons and drawing. From an early age Chad was always drawn to the world of drawing and art as a form of escape from the world around him. In drawing his best friends became his pen, paper, and paints. Chad was influenced by the cartoons he used to watch. This influence is still seen in his art today.
Chad began to formally take art classes in high school. This only served to further fuel his love and determination in the world of art. In 1990, Chad placed 3rd for the Ohio Governor’s award. He also received his first article in 1990. Upon graduation Chad took several odd jobs to support himself and his art.
Over the next ten years Chad began to work the streets promoting his art. In 2000, his hard work paid off and he got his first group show! This was the beginning of his long relationship with the Lindsay Gallery in Columbus , Ohio . Since then Chad has been able to exhibit his art throughout the United States and has continued his studies at The Ohio State University.
